Structural Testing Systems (STS) was developed in 1980 by a well known entrepreneur in Long Island New York as a Non-destructive Testing Company which contracted its services to New York based Corporate Aircraft owners. Soon the company became known for the team’s technical expertise, timeliness and outstanding customer service and the technicians began to travel throughout the Northern states to corporate aircraft services centers and private facilities to provide on site mobile Non-destructive Testing.

Since its beginning in 1980, STS has grown from a small Long Island company to attaining extraordinary company growth and a reputation as a professional travel based NDT Corporation. The company’s flexible capabilities and expert staff allowed it to expand its contract availability to both Commercial Airlines as well as Military establishments.

The new STS leadership team, Toni Bailey and Mark Welter, came on board in 2001 and hail from Texas and Minnesota respectively. Their combined experience span more than 30 years with certification levels up to the Level III status. In the past few years Toni and Mark have brought STS to an even higher level with the use of the latest technology available in equipment and NDT training. The technicians at Structural Testing Systems are MIL-STD 410 qualified, ASNT certified, and FAA certified.

We are the Northeastern Rolls Royce NDT representatives for the UT Fan disk inspection for both the G-V and Global aircraft. We have the Cessna Citation NDT Certification, Dassault / Falcon Jet specific certifications and expertise with Hawker, Gulfstream, Challenger, Citation, Lear, Westwind and various other model aircraft.
